Chinese Bamboo

In the Far East, there is a tree called the Chinese bamboo tree. This remarkable tree is different from most trees in that it doesn’t grow in the usual fashion. While most trees grow steadily over a period of years, the Chinese bamboo tree doesn’t break through the ground for the first four years. During these four years it has to be nurtured and watered constantly. If at any time during these four years the watering or nurturing stops the Chinese bamboo tree will die in the ground.

Then, in the fifth year, an amazing thing happens  the tree bursts through the ground and can grow to a height of 90 feet tall in just five weeks. It’s almost as if you can actually see the tree growing before your very eyes.

At Woodworks we believe that life and business is a lot like the story of the Chinese bamboo tree. In most cases it takes a lot of hard work and determination before you burst through the ground and start making progress in business or in life. We strive to create a thriving company with hard work and to teach other young entrepreneurs that you can reach your dreams if you are willing to do the hard yards and have the patience to wait for the results.
